At SANOOSI, I don't just "add" shea butter; it is the heart of my formula.
It's inspired by traditional West African skincare and my Nigerian heritage. During the formulation it was very important to me that I didn't cut corners by using minimal amounts of shea butter, because I wanted to harness all the benefits of it. This is why shea butter is listed as the very first ingredient.
The eagle-eyed customers have noticed that I've combined Nigerian and British identity to create something representative of not just myself but many others in the UK. The two have blended together so that you'll be left with a scent that is truly unique, and leave you feeling your absolute best.
I spent almost a year formulating and testing SANOOSI. Why? Because while other natural deodorants can feel gritty or drying, SANOOSI offers a superior glide. It protects your skin's barrier and moisturises, all while the magnesium and bicarbonate of soda work together to neutralise bad odour. The quality arrowroot works to absorb sweat at source to leave you feeling dry all day, without aluminium or toxic chemicals.
It was important to me to create a skincare product that was actually skincare. That's why I didn't take any shortcuts. No fillers, no cornstarch, just premium ingredients and formulation.
